A reseller may buy stock, a distributor may manage territory accounts and an affiliate may only refer a sale. Before balances or commissions are designed, the platform needs the actual commercial rules for eligibility, pricing, attribution, returns and payment approval.
The build can support partner onboarding, tier prices, allocated stock, order placement, referral records, statements and payout review. Acceptance examples include a returned order, a changed partner tier, an attribution dispute and a reversed commission. A complete history should show why a balance changed.
Provide the partner agreement, sample orders, commission examples and the people who approve payments. Legal, tax and regulatory review remains with the business and its advisers. The software implements approved rules; it does not validate the business model. If approved rules include sponsor relationships and qualification-based commissions, review network-marketing systems.
