Decide when an available asset becomes reserved
A calendar does not prevent two customers from requesting the same property, vehicle or piece of equipment. We define request, temporary hold, approval, payment deadline and confirmed reservation states, plus who resolves an unavailable asset or dispute.
The marketplace can include listings, filters, availability, customer accounts, owner tools, deposits and cancellation workflows. Tests cover simultaneous requests, overlapping periods, extensions and a failed payment. Deposit deductions or damage claims should use an explicit review process rather than an automatic decision from incomplete data.
